Privacy Policy

Last updated: July 1, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how Cup (“Cup”, “we”, “us”, or “our”) collects, uses, and protects your information when you use the Cup mobile application on iOS and Android (the “App”). By using the App, you agree to the practices described here.

01 Information we collect

We collect only what we need to provide and improve the App. This may include:

  • Account information — such as your name, email address, and phone number when you create an account or sign in.
  • Order & activity data — items you browse, orders you place, favourites, and preferences within the App.
  • Location data — approximate or precise location, with your permission, to show nearby restaurants and enable delivery or pickup.
  • Device & usage data — device model, operating system, app version, and anonymised usage analytics that help us diagnose issues and improve performance.
  • Payment information — processed securely by our third-party payment providers. We do not store full card numbers on our servers.

02 How we use your information

  • To create and manage your account and authenticate you.
  • To process orders, payments, and deliveries.
  • To personalise your experience and show relevant restaurants, offers, and banners.
  • To send you service messages, order updates, and — where you opt in — promotional notifications.
  • To provide customer support and respond to your requests.
  • To keep the App secure, prevent fraud, and comply with legal obligations.

03 Sharing & disclosure

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only in these limited situations:

  • Restaurants & delivery partners — order details needed to fulfil your order.
  • Service providers — payment processors, hosting, analytics, and notification services acting on our behalf under confidentiality obligations.
  • Legal requirements — when required by law, court order, or to protect the rights and safety of our users.

04 Data retention

We keep your information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the App, comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. When it is no longer needed, we delete or anonymise it.

05 Security

We use industry-standard measures — including encryption in transit, access controls, and secure infrastructure — to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, but we work continuously to safeguard your data.

06 Your rights & choices

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:

  • Access, correct, or delete your personal information.
  • Withdraw consent or object to certain processing.
  • Turn off push notifications or location access in your device settings.
  • Request a copy of your data or ask us to restrict its use.

To exercise any of these rights, contact us at support@cup.app. You can also request full account deletion at any time.

07 Children’s privacy

The App is not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age required in your country). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us information, please contact us and we will delete it.

08 Third-party services

The App may rely on third-party services such as payment processors, maps, and analytics providers. Their use of your information is governed by their own privacy policies, and we encourage you to review them.

09 Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date above and, where appropriate, notify you in the App. Your continued use of the App after changes means you accept the updated policy.
